ako ay pilipino
when i need a good laugh, i watch the philippine news program, tv patrol world.
today's major story was how a whole mess of P100 bills (P100 = 100 pesos = a whopping $1.82 as of today's current exchange rate) was printed with the president's name misspelled. a rare collector's find, indeed!
the headline read:
(i think even non-tagalog-speaking-people can understand this headline without translation.)
my question is, how does that shit happen?
i mean, didn't anyone check like some type of rough draft of the money before it got printed?
really, there's no better time to be proud of your roots. ako ay pilipino!
mabuhay!
